V S wowed us with his one-take performance: Sudev Nair

, and he recently shot some scenes with veteran political leader V S Achuthanandan. Sudev might have impressed audience and critics right through his debut film, but it was his turn to be wowed as V S gave 'cool shots' for the film, that too sans preparations. V S is acting as himself in the film, directed by Jeevan Das.

Sudev recalls, 'Shooting with V S Achuthanandan felt indeed special! He plays his real-life persona in the movie and is shown giving a talk, in solidarity with a strike led by my gang of college students. He delivers a long speech and then sits with us declaring support.' In the movie, the college students are shown protesting against an issue plaguing a village.

As for V S, he apparently went for his takes without rehearsals! 'It was a scripted speech and a long one at that. But he said we can straightaway go for the take. And he proved the decision right in no time, giving perfect takes.' V S has been part of a few movies in the past too, in which he appeared as himself, but this is his first commercial project.

Diamond Necklace fame Gauthami Nair is the female lead of the movie, which also has Joy Mathew in a pivotal role.
