Rocketry: The Nambi Effect

was written by popular actor

R Madhavan

and also marks his directorial debut. The shoot is complete and the film is set to release in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English this year. Director Prajesh Sen (Captain) assisted Madhavan in this dream project about the scientist, who was falsely accused of being a spy and arrested in 1994.

Award-winning Hollywood actors, including Ron Donachie (Titanic, Jungle Book, Game Of Thrones), Phyllis Logan (Downtown Abbey, Another Time, Another Place), Vincent Riotta (Inferno, Al Capone, Rush) play pivotal roles in the movie along with Madhavan and Simran, who essay the lead roles of Nambi Narayanan and his wife.

and Vijay Moolan Talkies, the movie will witness the return of the on-screen star pairing of Madhavan and Simran after 17 years.

The 35-year-old Varghese Moolans Group of Companies is diversifying into the entertainment industry by co-producing Rocketry: The Nambi Effect with Sarita Madhavan.
