‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ box office collection day 11: Pranav Mohanlal-Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer collects Rs 58 crore

Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ has minted Rs 2.80 crore from India net collection on the eleventh day, Sunday, April 21. Within its first eleven days of release, Varshangalkku Shesham has soared high, amassing an estimated Rs 28.65 crore in net earnings in India alone.

On Sunday, April 21, 2024, 'Varshangalkku Shesham' commanded an outstanding 55.21% occupancy. By the end of the eleventh day, the film collected Rs 58 crore globally. The overseas collection of the film too is impressive. The Vineeth Sreenivasan’s directorial has minted Rs 28 crore from overseas earnings.

Helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ has an ensemble cast including Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Neeraj Madhav, Neeta Pillai, Arjun Lal, Nikhil Nair, Shaan Rahman, and Nivin Pauly.

ETimes rated ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ 3 out of 5 and wrote, “Almost 20 years after Mohanlal and Sreenivasan did a film together about celluloid dreams, titled Udayananu Tharam, their sons have come together in a film on the same theme, but with a different feel. While Varshangalkku Shesham is also about missed opportunities, the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial, which spans about 50 years, is at the heart, a story of friendship, with lots of in-jokes woven in. Vineeth's script, where the two friends blow hot and blow cold doesn't flow smoothly. And while audiences loved the jokes referencing Sreenivasan or the industry, the rest of the humour doesn't really land. Also, it's a bit disappointing that there are no prominent women characters. From such a fun team, we would have expected a more engaging, moving film.”
