Antony Kochi

passed away, aged 77. The actor was known for his roles in popular movies like '

Maheshinte Prathikaaram

' and 'Guppy'. According to reports, the actor passed away due to a cardiac arrest late in the afternoon. The actor took his last breath at Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi.


Antony made his debut and came into limelight with his character Vincent Bhavana in Dileesh Pothan's debut directorial 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' starring Fahadh Faasil. Antony played the father of Fahadh Faasil's character. His dialogue, ''Mahesh, photography can't be taught,'' was one of the most famous dialogues from the movie.

The veteran actor has also acted in movies like 'Aakasha Mittayee', 'Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela', 'Georgettan's Pooram' and '

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol

'. His wife Leena also played a good character in 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram'. Both of them were theatre artist for about a half-century.
