Vijay Babu lauds ‘Malikappuram’, says the movie touched his heart

Unni Mukundan starrer ‘Malikappuram’ helmed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar is getting rave reviews and is running successfully in the cinemas. Actor-producer Vijay Babu watched the film lately and is all praise for the makers and the cast.

In his Facebook note, Vijay Babu said, “I normally don’t like to miss the movies which has worked for the audience in theatres. Hence was waiting to watch “malikapurram “ due to reasons more than one. Firstly being a strong ayyappa devotee and secondly coz it was a story I heard 4 years back I wanted to see how it finally shaped on screen.”

He continued, “Must say that the movie touched my heart multiple times. Brilliant work in all departments to turn a very tricky subject to make it a “super commercial movie”. Kudos to director “Vishnu Sasi Shankar” for the way he conceived it and also delivering the first commercial hit of 2023. Abhilash Pillai has once again proved that he has mettle in him and is becoming one of the most talented young writers in Malayalam. Way to go man…”

Vijay Babu also lauded the technical team of the film, “One of the highlights of the movie is its BGM & a brilliant “Rajin raj “ has taken the movie to a different level. Vishnu Narayanan‘s camera is outstanding … as always has a midas touch ( aadu - 1 & 2 for us ��). Shameer Mohammed as usual done his job perfectly in the editing dept.”

He further added, “And finally “Unni Mukundan”…. No words to talk about the energy and screen presence he has …. From the moment ” Ayyappan” appears on screen till the end it was an out and out Unni mukundan vilayattom The spark he has in his eyes has added to the character. And such a lovely human being he is …. was living the character more than acting . Unni is vey close to becoming one of dependable stars in Mollywood with his script selection. Brilliant fights and choreo too,” he added.
