Vinayan's 3D children's film, 'The Adventures of a Little Superman' will hit the theatres on Vishu. The fantasy movie was withdrawn from theatres last year based on remarks by Child Welfare Committee, which pointed out that the climax of the movie gives wrong message to children.
Director Vinayan
recently posted, 'The movie suffered due to the intervention of certain people with vested interests. I released the movie after clearing it with the Censor Board. I was told from many quarters that some people had put pressure on the Censor Board with the help of a religious organisation to recall my movie from theatres. I decided to pull it back because I didn't want any unwanted controversy, because, after all, the movie is meant for kids and their entertainment (sic)."
