Superstar Mammootty’s latest release ‘Kannur Squad’ has not only captivated the audience but has also earned the admiration of fellow artists in the industry. Actor-filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan watched the cop thriller recently, and has extended his admiration for the team.
Vineeth Sreenivasan couldn't contain his excitement as he shared his thoughts on 'Kannur Squad.' His note of admiration, shared on social media resonated not only with Mammootty's performance but also with the overall quality of the movie. Furthermore, Vineeth Sreenivasan commended Mammootty for creating a brand, Mammotty Kampany, known for delivering high-quality films.
In a note shared on social media, Vineeth Sreenivasan said, “Kannur Squad!! What a film!! Mammootty uncle, you continue to surprise and inspire and I have no words to speak about your performance, your selection of movies off-late, and the way you have made Mammotty Kampany a brand that makes films of such quality!”

Vineeth Sreenivasan also lauded the director of ‘Kannur Squad,’ Roby Varghese Raj, and the co-writer-actor Rony David Raj. “Roby, Rony chetta… We all have crossed paths in such beautiful times in our lives and to see u guys making this kind of a movie together is such a joy!! Meanwhile, ‘Kannur Squad’ has reportedly minted Rs 40 crore in the worldwide box office collection. The domestic collection of the film stands close to Rs 21 crore. The film was released in theatres on September 28. Mammootty plays the role of ASI George Martin, the investigating officer in ‘Kannur Squad.’ Actors Rony David Raj, Shabareesh Varma, Azees Nedumangad, Vijayaraghavan, and Kishore are seen in some important roles in the film.
On the other hand, Vineeth Sreenivasan’s recent release was ‘Kurukkan.’
