VIROSH celebrations begin: 'Lokah' star Kalyani Priyadarshan joins Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s pre-wedding events

Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan who recently had her success with the actioner 'Lokah', has joined the pre-wedding festivities of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, lovingly tagged “Virosh” by fans.

'Varane Avashyamund' actor offered a heartwarming look into the celebrations by sharing elegant snapshots from the event on social media. Dressed in a stunning golden saree, she wrote, “Last night. To celebrate my favorite love story.”

Holi-inspired haldi ceremony

One of the most talked-about events was the Haldi ceremony, which carried a colourful twist. Guests attended with cheeks dusted in vibrant gulal, blending Holi hues with the traditional turmeric ritual.

The décor featured personalised elements. Floral arrangements spelled out “Vijay” and “Rushie.” There was a charming custom illustration of the couple’s pets, Storm and Aura as reported by Latestly.

Sangeet night celebrates their cinematic journey

The Sangeet ceremony which was held on Wednesday night celebrated the couple’s shared film legacy. The playlist reportedly included chart-toppers from their hit collaborations 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade'.

To honour their diverse roots, the wedding features two culturally rich ceremonies. This day's schedule includes a traditional Telugu Hindu wedding which is the followed by a Kodava (Coorg) ceremony.

Kalyani Priyadarshan confirms ‘Lokah Chapter 2’

Alongside her wedding celebrations appearance, Kalyani Priyadarshan also made headlines with an update on her upcoming project.

Kalyani confirmed in a public event about her return in 'Lokah Chapter 2' and revealed the production schedule. She said, “The writing is going on. We should start shooting by, hopefully, September. I’m there in the second part, so wait for it.”

The sequel revolves around the character Chathan, played by Tovino Thomas. Actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan earlier dropped a poster, writing, “Beyond myths. Beyond legends. A new chapter begins. #LokahChapter2. Starring Tovino Thomas. Written & Directed by Dominic Arun.”
