Veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar recently met Malayalam filmmaker Akhil Sathyan and showered him with praise. The young filmmaker is currently basking in the success of his recent release, ‘Sarvam Maya’. On Wednesday, February 11, Radhikaa Sarathkumar took to her X (formerly Twitter) timeline and shared a picture taken with the ‘Sarvam Maya’ director. The actress, who watched ‘Sarvam Maya’ earlier this month, expressed that she is eagerly awaiting the release of the director’s next. “A pleasure meeting Akhil Sathyan, director of Sarvam Maya movie. Helmed by Akhil Sathyan, the horror-comedy features Nivin Pauly, Riya Shibu, and Aju Varghese in the lead roles. The veteran actress watched the film with her husband actor Sarathkumar. They enjoyed the film, and Radhikaa Sarathkumar shared a note on X to appreciate the ‘Sarvam Maya’ team. “Loved loved #SarvamMaya, Sarath and me laughed, smiled and got teary-eyed for this heartwarming film @NivinOfficial you moulded so well into your role @riyashibu_ what a strength to the film #Akhilsathyan more power to your writing, to the team,” she wrote. Meanwhile, Akhil Sathyan’s ‘Sarvam Maya’ revolves around a musician-turned-priest, Prabhendu, and the unconventional ghost he encounters amidst an exorcism. TOI ranked the film 3.5, and the review reads, “This is not a film with layered meanings or profound storytelling. Its strength lies in its simplicity. The humour is organic and gentle, earning warm-hearted laughs from the audience. The evolution of the story is clear to see—the small moments that push the narrative forward, the subtle changes in the characters, and the careful handling of a subject that could easily have invited criticism.
