Mammootty revealed the news alongside a striking black-and-white poster of 'Bramayugam,' showcasing the actor's intense character with an eerie, evilish smile as he looks upwards. The poster adds to the anticipation surrounding the film, with Mammootty portraying a negative character in this horror thriller.

The teaser, released earlier by the makers, hinted at a spooky narrative set in an old Kerala-style bungalow, adding to the intrigue and suspense.

In addition to Mammootty's stellar performance, "Bramayugam" boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Arjun Ashokan, Amalda Liz, and Siddharth Bharathan in pivotal roles.

The certification of the film with a U/A rating ensures that a diverse audience, including children above the age of twelve, can experience the chills and thrills that 'Bramayugam' promises to deliver. As seen in Rahul Sadasivan's earlier film 'Bhoothakaalam', 'Bramayugam' will also rely on visual horror rather than gore.
