As football fans are all excited to witness the FIFA World Cup this year which is all set to kick off in Qatar on November 20, the Mollywood superstar launched his musical tribute on the last day. The tribute video is now making the rounds on social media as netizens are lauding Mohanlal’s unmatchable charisma.

Mollywood actress Mamta Mohandas is a cancer survivor and after undergoing treatment, she came out it and indeed one of the most inspiring celebrities in Mollywood.

The most talented actress Srividya fought spine cancer bravely until she breathed her last at the age of 53.

Mollywood actor Jishnu, who was one of the promising actors in Mollywood, was diagnosed with throat cancer, and the actor was completely cured of it. After a long battle with cancer, the young star breathed his last on March 25.

Versatile Mollywood actor Kollam Thulasi was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2012. Due to his strong will, the actor came out of it and also expressed his gratitude to all his well-wishers who prayed for his recovery.

Actress Gautami was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35 and recovering from it, the actress posted a note on social media saying, “I realized I didn't want to live the life of stress and constant tension. I needed a quality life.”

Late actor NL Balakrishnan who played several memorable roles in many Malayalam movies was diagnosed with cancer swelling in the vicinity of an eye.


Mohanlal took to his official Facebook handle to unveil his musical tribute for FIFA World Cup 2022. Sharing the video, the ‘Monster’ actor penned a note that read, “One emotion, one thought, one religion…that’s football! Video out now.” The post was flooded with comments from fans and one among them said, “Wow Laletta, You’re the best! You did a very Excellent job narrating, performing, & singing! We are so proud of you Laletta! Congratulations! God Bless You!”

The musical tribute video for FIFA World Cup 2022 is directed by the renowned filmmaker TK Rajeev Kumar and the song is crooned by Mohanlal. The lyrics of the song are penned by Krishnadas Panki and the song is composed by the ‘Hridayam’ fame Hesham Abdul Wahab. Sudeep Elamon did the cinematography of the musical tribute video and the editing section is handled by Don Max. PC Vishnu is roped in as the sound designer and Brinda master is the dance choreographer.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal’s previous outing was with the thriller film ‘Monster’ which was directed by Vysakh and scripted by Uday Krishna. The film is getting an average report among the audiences. Actors Honey Rose, Siddique, Lenaa, and Lakshmi Manchu also played pivotal roles in the movie.
