The legendary superstar Mammootty took to his official Instagram handle to share the BTS video of Shobana paying a visit to the sets of his upcoming investigation thriller ‘CBI 5: The Brain’. Sharing the video the actor penned a note that read, “ When Nagavalli met Sethurama Iyyer.” The post was soon flooded with comments from the fans who were all eager to know whether Shobana will be playing a cameo role in the fifth installment of the CBI franchise.

In the BTS video, Mammootty is seen having a nice conversation with Shobana on the sets, and both of them, along with the crew of ‘CBI 5’ are seen having lunch. The video ends with both the talented stars Mammootty and Shobana taking a selfie.

Meanwhile, Mammootty is gearing up for the release of the fifth and tentatively final installment of the CBI series which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release scheduled for May 1, 2022.

Helmed by the veteran director K Madhu, ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ is penned down by the writer SN Swamy. The film also has a specialty as Jagathy Sreekumar will be making his comeback by playing the CBI officer character Vikram and the actor Mukesh will be also playing a major role in the film as the character Chacko.

‘CBI 5: The Brain’ will also have some additional casts to the list that includes the actors Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan, Anoop Menon, Kaniha, Malavika Menon, Prasanth Alexander, Ramesh Pisharody, and Renji Panicker.
