He clarified that Kani was compensated fairly within the constraints of the film's budget. Sajin expressed gratitude for Kani's cooperation and dedication throughout the project. "We paid Kani the maximum amount we could afford at the time, and she accepted the remuneration with happiness and satisfaction," Sajin stated. He emphasized that their professional relationship remained warm and respectful both during and after the shoot.

Baabu highlighted the significant achievements of 'Biriyaani,' noting that the film had received numerous awards and accolades, including the Best Movie award at a film festival in Italy and various national and state awards. He reflected on the film's political message and its impact, stating, "Those who understood the movie's politics enjoyed it, while others questioned me about it. I believe I've addressed their inquiries and dispelled their doubts."
Sajin also responded to the recent focus on the film's politics, which he believes is an attempt to undermine the success of Indian cinema on the global stage, particularly after an Indian movie won the prestigious Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival. "Those who haven't discussed 'Biriyaani' until now are now focusing on the movie's politics to undermine this incredible achievement by an Indian film at Cannes," he remarked.
