. But what really is success? Is it just achieving your goals? Does being rich count as success? Yesteryear actress Manya Naidu has now shared her thoughts on the idea of success. The diva took to the photo-sharing app Instagram to pen down her thoughts on the same.

“Be human. It’s more important to have empathy and to be a good

human

being more than anything else. We all play a short role on earth & we all eventually have to die - that’s the truth. Most of us work very hard. However, with luck a few are blessed with an extra bit of fame, fortune & education. That does NOT mean that they are any better than others. At the end, nothing matters - absolutely nothing. Be empathetic. Be humble. Be human (sic),” Manya said in her post.

The gorgeous actress also shared her throwback picture along with a quote that reads, “Being famous, rich, or educated is not a sign of success. Being empathetic is,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Manya is one of the most loved yesteryear actors in Malayalam cinema. ‘Joker’ and ‘Kunjikoonan’ are some of her popular movies in Mollywood.

The actress had quit cinema a decade ago and she resides in New York City with her family. In a recent exclusive interview with ETimes, Manya Naidu divulged about her life in the metropolitan city. She is working as an auditor for an international bank. “I love this city for its vibrance and its charm. It’s indisputably the ‘City of Dreams’,” Manya shared with us.

The actress also divulged that she has plans for making a second innings in the industry.
