When Dulquer Salmaan called his dad Mammootty ‘My bestie, my hero’

It’s a known fact that the Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan and his dad-actor Mammootty hold a special bond. Earlier during Mammootty’s 73rd birthday, Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram handle to share a rare picture with his ‘Superhero’ dad.

On September 7, this year, Dulquer Salmaan shared a stunning click with his dad and penned a note that read, “Of late I’ve realised that the best of friends never have any photos together. Cause their moments together are too precious and fun to even think of wasting time posing or taking selfies.”


Dulquer Salmaan further said, “Increasingly so, each year it’s become tradition for us to take pictures for me to post on your birthday Pa. Somehow neither of our phones seem to ever have any pictures of just the both of us. But now Im beginning to understand and love why that is.”

The ‘Lucky Baskhar’ actor concluded the note by calling his dad his ‘Bestie’ and ‘Hero’. Dulquer’s note read, “Wishing my bestie, my hero, my father the happiest birthday !!”

Meanwhile, the fans are eagerly waiting for Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan to team up for a film. Earlier there were speculations that Dulquer Salmaan will be appearing in the most awaited ‘Big B’ sequel ‘Bilal’, but no confirmation has been made yet by the makers.

According to the latest updates, the director Amal Neerad will soon start working on the tentatively titled project ‘Bilal’ and the audiences can expect an update soon from the makers of the most awaited film.
