When KPAC Lalitha learned Chinese for a Mohanlal movie

The demise of the inimitable, enigmatic thespian KPAC Lalitha has indeed left a void in the Malayalam film industry that could never be filled by any in the near future. Having performed several memorable roles in umpteen films, the veteran actress also has immense knowledge about different areas of art forms. The actress who has an incredible talent in voice acting has also dubbed in the Chinese language for the Mohanlal starrer film ‘Ittymani: Made in China’.

It was during the post-production works of the Mohanlal starrer film ‘Ittymani Made in China’ that the makers shared a video of KPAC Lalitha dubbing a scene for the film in the Chinese language. The video went viral on social media and the audience was in awe seeing the actress dubbing those portions like a pro.

KPAC Lalitha played a mom character named Theyyamma in the film opposite Mohanlal. ‘Ittymani Made in China’ was the directorial debut of Jibi Joju. Although the film received mostly mixed responses from the audience, it was a humongous hit at the box office during the year 2019.


‘Ittymani Made in China’ also featured the actors Johny Antony, Radhika Sarathkumar, Aju Varghese, Honey Rose, Siddique, Swastika Vijay, and Hareesh Kanaran.
