When late veteran actor Sreenivasan opened up about his smoking habit and THIS 'piece of advice for others': 'It destroyed my health'

As reported by Manorama Online Sreenivasan once admitted how deeply addicted he was to smoking and how much he regretted it. He said that he feel that he should not have smoked so many cigarettes. "Smoking destroyed my health. Even in this condition, if I get a cigarette, I would still smoke it. That’s how strong the addiction is,” Sreenivasan said in a media interaction.
He also shared a simple message for others. “I have only one piece of advice for others: if possible, do not smoke,” he said.
He explained how writing pressure made the habit worse. “When you are unable to write the way you want, it drives you crazy. At that time, you reach for it,” he added.
Sreenivasan also spoke about how close he came to death that day. “Vinu told me we should go to the hospital. I said, ‘It’s nothing… it will pass,’” he recalled. But his friends rushed him to the hospital. “I regained consciousness only after 24 hours. It felt like I had already died,” he said, adding that CPR saved his life.
He ended with a hard truth: “I understood one thing. You don’t need any special skill to die. Any fool can die as fast as they want.”

The frightening incident at Lal Studio
Talking about a scary moment from his life, Sreenivasan recalled what happened during dubbing at Lal Studio. “I went to Lal Studio to do dubbing for Kuttimama. It was on the first floor. While I was talking I suddenly felt breathless. Smoking was the main problem,” he said.Sreenivasan says any fool can die anytime
Sreenivasan also spoke about how close he came to death that day. “Vinu told me we should go to the hospital. I said, ‘It’s nothing… it will pass,’” he recalled. But his friends rushed him to the hospital. “I regained consciousness only after 24 hours. It felt like I had already died,” he said, adding that CPR saved his life.
He ended with a hard truth: “I understood one thing. You don’t need any special skill to die. Any fool can die as fast as they want.”
