When Vikram tried to sing Malare

At a recent event in Chennai, Nivin Pauly was honoured for his reach among the Tamil audience through his film

Premam

. Actor Vikram presented the award to the actor along with Jayam Ravi who was also on stage.

After receiving the award, Nivin thanked the fans and then broke into the song

Malare

from the movie. Soon, Vikram also joined. However, the actor was clueless about the lyrics so had to contend with just humming the tune while Jayam Ravi also chimed in.

The trio seemed to be having a good time on stage with Vikram also sharing a secret about not keeping money in his wallet. 'Usually I borrow it from my assistant. But when I don't have him around, I ask the other actors. I asked Jayam Ravi once but he had to then ask him wife. As for Nivin, he outrightly refused,' gushed Vikram.
