Zachariyayude Garbhinikal gets chinese tummies

It has been proven yet again that Malayalam cinema is sure perfecting its technical side. For the film Zachariyayude Garbhinikal, not one but three prosthetic tummies, of different sizes, were brought in from China, for each of the five actresses — Rima, Sanusha, Geetha, Sandra Thomas and Asha Sharat. “This is probably the first time such tummies are being imported for a Malayalam film.They were of three sizes, three months, six months and nine months, and made of silicone.
They fit snugly and comfortably, and look exactly like a real tummy,” says Sandra, who is also the producer of the film. She further adds that the actresses enjoyed wearing them and were fine with keeping them on throughout the shoot, breaks included. Directed by Aneesh Anwar, Zachariyayude Garbhinikal portrays the story of a gynaecologist, played by Lal, and the five women in his life.
