The ‘Puthiya Vazhi’ video song of the yet-to-be released

has already notched up more than a million views. The music for the film, starring Kalidas Jayaram and Aparna Balamuri in the lead roles, is by Arunvijay.

The melodious number, set around a rural landscape, is pictured around the five friends on whom the film is based. It shows Kalidas’ character feeling poignant about childhood memories. The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph. He shares the writing credit with his wife, Linta Jeethu. It is a comedy about a gang of friends who strive to become goons, but are not very successful in striking fear in others.
