Unni Mukundan starrer ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’ is slated for release on November 25, and the makers have started to tease the movie buffs with its promos. The makers have recently launched the song ‘Ponpularikal Porunney’, which is indeed a double treat for the audience.
The tuneful number is composed by Shaan Rahman, and Unni Mukundan himself has lent his voice to the song. The lyrics are penned by Manu Manjith. A melodious number, ‘Ponpularikal Porunney’ features Unni Mukundan, who is playing the titular Shefeek, in an ayurvedic health resort, as a patient. Shefeek meets this gorgeous staff, played by graceful Athmiya during his stay. The song features romance blossoming between the two characters. Manoj K Jayan, who plays a medical practitioner/ actor also appears in the song.

Directed by debutant Anup Pandalam, ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’ is touted to be a family entertainer. Unni Mukundan is essaying the lead role of Shefeek, a Dubai returnee, who finds happiness in helping others. Actors Athmiya and Divya Pilla play the leading ladies in the film. The film will hit the big screens next Friday (Nov 25).
Meanwhile, on the work front, Unni Mukundan’ recent release was ‘Yashoda’. The film had Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role, and Unni Mukundan playing a pivotal role in the film.
