Malayalam singer – actor Siddharth Menon, who became a heartthrob years ago through a youthful cover version of the popular Malayalam song ‘Mandaara Cheppundo,’ is all set to launch a cover song series.Siddharth announced it recently through his online page. The series is titled ‘Roobaroo.’ Here’s what the singer has to say about the series: A series of emotions, love and friendship. Something which is done with a lot of heart in it. On acting front, Siddharth was seen last in Anjali Menon’s Prithviraj Sukumaran – Nazriya Nazim – Parvathy Thiruvoth starrer movie ‘Koode,’ in which he played a character named Sean. He was also part of ‘Neermathalam Poothakalam’ in a guest appearance.
He plays actress Nithya Menen’s character’s love interest in the upcoming movie ‘Kolambi.’ Earlier, ‘Kolambi’ director Rajeev Kumar had told us that plays a Delhi-based musician in the film. He had revealed, “He is someone who has been living in Delhi and at one point in his life, finds out that his forefathers hail from Fort Kochi. He visits Fort Kochi for the first time, during which he meets Nithya’s character. There is also an interesting love track in the story between them.”
