after watching Sameer Vidwans' blockbuster film 'Anandi Gopal'.

In an exclusive chat with Etimes, Director Sameer Vidwans revealed that the team had kept a special screening for Dr. Shantaram Balwant Mujumdar. Mr Mujumdar was very amazed and decided to open a new medical college for girls in Pune.

Sameer said "It's very big for achievement for me and my team. This is a true success of 'Anandi Gopal'. There are almost 150 students, who have already taken the admission. We are very happy that this film has made a positive impact on society"





Talking about the film, Sameer Vidwans's 'Anandi Gopal' is a biopic based on the life of

Anandi Gopal Joshi

, who is known as the first Indian woman doctor.

It featured stars like Bhagyashree Milind, Lalit Prabhakar Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Yogesh Soman in pivotal roles. The film was released on February 15, 2019.
