Akshay Waghmare and wife Yogita to become parents soon

with friends and fans via social media on Valentine's Day. The couple that tied the knot last year, is all set to welcome their

first child

soon.

An excited Akshay told us, "When we learnt about the pregnancy, both of us had the same reaction. We were very happy. But it took time to digest the news. Our parents are very happy too."

Happy to begin this new chapter of their lives soon, the couple is taking utmost care and staying fit together. "When Akshay leaves for the gym, he wakes me up. He takes utmost care of me. I exercise, walk and then do some yoga. We ensure that we eat on time. In the evening we both go for a walk," shares Yogita.

On work front, Akshay will be seen in the period film, 'JungJauhar'. The film helmed by Digpal Lanjekar is third film in series of period films based on the unsung heroes. Previous films includes Farzand and Fatteshikast. Though we are aware that Akshay is part of the film, but the makers have not revealed the character he will be essaying in the film. The film is ready to release and the announcment of the date will be made soon. Akshay is also working on another web project and for which the actor has completed the shoot recently in Pune. Helmed by Vikram Gokhale the project will also see Akshay and Aastad Kale essaying role of cop.
