Every Gudi Padwa, Amruta Khanvilkar wakes up, dresses in her traditional best, hoists the Gudi and prays for good things to happen in the new year. This year will be no different. "It's a different energy that this festival brings with it. This year's Gudi Padwa falls on a very special muhurat. I'll be wearing a beautiful saree from my wardrobe while doing the puja and hoisting the Gudi today. I believe in manifesting my dreams and will pray for good things to happen to everyone," Amruta tells us.
It is also a cheat day for the actress, who is a fitness enthusiast. Elaborating on her lunch plans for today, the Chandramukhi actress says, "My mom makes puris, basundi and aamras today. Well, who can say no to this menu? It's a cheat day and I am going to make the most of it."

Amruta has a beautiful collection of sarees. She shares, "I love wearing sarees, especially Paithanis. My wardrobe has sarees in all colours. I feel it's an outfit that complements the beauty of a woman."
