'Ananya': Reasons to watch the Hruta Durgule starrer film

Pratap Phad's directorial 'Ananya' starring Hruta Durgule, Amey Wagh, Suvrat Joshi, Yogesh Soman, Rucha Apte, Renuka Daftardar, and Sunil Abhyankar has created a lot of buzz amongst the audience.

Owing to the overwhelming response so far, the makers of the film have decided to release it on Friday, July 22. Right from its quirky concept to the stupendous performances of the actors on the big screen, we give you a rundown of reasons as to why you shouldn’t miss watching the film.

Directed by Pratap Phad, the film 'Ananya' is based on a successful play of the same name written and directed by the filmmaker himself. Talking about the film, it is a story of an ordinary girl, 'Ananya' (played by Hruta), who possesses the potential to do something extra–ordinary.

However, things take a turn for Ananya after she meets with a severe road accident.

Hruta Durgule is well-known for her popular television shows in Marathi entertainment industry. The diva is all set to make her big-screen with Pratap Phad's 'Ananya'.

In an exclusive chat with Etimes, Hruta had said, "I don't think anybody will no for 'Ananya'. I am very fortunate that I got a chance to portray such a strong character. I was very excited when I got selected during the audition and it's my debut Marathi film. Making a debut with 'Ananya' is a dream come true for me."

After impressing the audience with the popular play, 'Ananya', actor Pratap Phad is set to make his directorial debut in Marathi cinema with 'Ananya'.

While speaking about his directorial in an exclusive chat Etimes, Pratap Phad had said, "I was overwhelmed with the response coming in from the play 'Ananya'. I got a call from Ravi Jadhav film who had watched my play 'Ananya' and he was planning to do a film on the same play. So, we mutually decided that 'Ananya' will be produced under the banner of Ravi Jadhav Films and I will direct the film."

The trailer of the film has very successfully given us a glimpse into each one of the characters in the film. With all big names like Chetan Chitnis, Suvrat Joshi, Amey Wagh, Yogesh Soman, Rucha Apte, Renuka Daftardar, and Sunil Abhyankar, the film has already generated a lot of curiosity, since the day it was announced.
