Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande's debut directorial 'Ani... Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar' has already created a buzz in on the social media. Today, the biopic king, Subodh Bhave who is playing the role of Dr Kashinath Ghanekar unveiled a new song from the film which is titled as 'Indradhanu'.
The song begins with actress
Vaidehi Parashurami
who seen cycling and only thinking about Subodh. In the film, she is playing role Kanchan, who is the daughter of
Sulochana Latkar.
The song is picturised in the backdrop of 1960-80's where the actress, Vaidehi is seen visiting the theatre to see Subodh's act as Ghanekar. The song shows that Vaidehi is impressed with style and act of Subodh Bhave, and starts liking him. However, Subodh Bhave is unaware of this one-sided love of Vaidehi Parashurami.
This love song has been crooned by Ajit Parab with lyrics of Guru Thakur and it has vocals of Sharayu Date.
'Ani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar' is based on the life of the legendary stage and film actor who was also considered as the first superstar of Marathi theatre. The film that is set to release on November 8, also stars Suhas Palshikar, Anand Ingle, Mohan Joshi,
Sonali Kulkarni,
Prasad Oak and Sumeet Raghvan.
