Anwesshaa marks debut as a music composer in Marathi cinema with 'Pahije Jatiche'

The multitalented Anwesshaa has established herself not only as a renowned singer but also as a gifted composer. With Pahije Jatiche, she marks her debut as a composer for Marathi cinema. Collaborating with acclaimed singers Abhay Jodhpurkar and Hrishikesh Ranade, the movie promises a musical treat that will resonate with the hearts of audiences.

Speaking about her experience working on 'Pahije Jatiche', Anwesshaa said, "I had a great time composing the songs and background score of this movie. It's a privilege to work on a project based on Vijay Tendulkar's legendary play. The album features four songs in different moods, incorporating elements like orchestral tracks, semi-classical melodies, rock influences, and the essence of Marathi folk. I've infused the wisdom of Jalaluddin Rumi and Sant Kabir's thoughts into a couple of songs, with Uma Kulkarni's lyrics adding richness to the melodies."
