Meanwhile, Marathi and Bollywood cinema's actor-director Sachin Pilgaonkar had also taken the first shot of the covid-19 vaccine.

Pilgaonkar wrote "Got the vaccination today at BKC jumbo COVID centre . Had taken my mother along. The medical staff was very helpful led by Dr Dere .Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra"
