In an exclusive chat with Etimes on our Insta live session, the 'Zabardast' actress revealed that the role of 'Chandramukhi' role was initially offered to her. Manasi said "May be it was offered to me or maybe I knew what was going to happen. Maybe I was given that role. I don't know why? I bless the whole team. I think I would have been a better 'Chandramukhi'.

Reacting to it, filmmaker Akshay Bardapurkar, said "We never approached Manasi Naik for 'Chandramukhi'"

Talking about the film 'Chandramukhi' is an amorous love story of an ambitious shrewd politician and a captivating gorgeous girl from Tamasha based on the adaptation from the famous novel under the same name, written by Vishwas Patil.

The film is set for a theatrical release on April 29.
