Filmmaker Prakash Janardan Pawar is known for 'Ranjan', 'Mithun' (2018) and 'Baloch', is all set to bring the valour of Maratha heroes onto the big screen with his upcoming film 'Fauji'.
The film tells the story of army's bravery on the border, and will soon be available to the audience. Recently makers dropped the motion poster of the film released on social media.

While speaking about the film, filmmaker Prakash Janardan Pawar said, "The Maratha Battalion is the oldest regiment in the Indian Army. It was also during the British period. The Maratha battalion is considered to be the most agile and brave. This Maratha battalion has performed many feats from the time of the British till now. We are presenting a story from the same heroic story through the movie 'Forge the Maratha Battalion."
It also stars Prajakta Gaikwad, Nagesh Bhosale, Shahbaz Khan, Arun Nalavde, Kalyani Chaudhary, Sanjay Khapare, Ashwini Kasar, Sunil Godbole, Hansraj Jagtap, Siddheshwar Zadbuk and among others.
The film is slated to release in 2024.
