The makers of Ankit Mohan starrer 'Babu' approached Gayatri Datar to star in Mayur Shinde's upcoming action-drama. But did you know that the makers of the film have replaced Gayatri Datar with the 'Simmba' actress Neha Mahajan?
Yes, You read it right! When we contacted the director of the film Mayur Shinde for clarity.Mayur said "Yes, Gayatri Datar is not in the film. We wanted to start the shooting of 'Babu' in April. Due to lockdown, we had to wait. Meanwhile, Gayatri accepted the proposal of 'BiggBoss' and she will be available after December. To resume shoot after December won't be possible for us. So, we decided that we will cast Neha Mahajan for Gayatri's role"
