Swapna Waghmare Joshi’s 'Savita Damodar Paranjpe' is based on popular Marathi play of the same name. In the film, Subodh is seen playing as Sharad Abhyankar, a husband of Trupti Toradmal (Kusum) who unexplained physical and mental trauma which have affected the couple’s relationship.
As a psychological thriller, SDP is worth a watch, primarily for the interesting story and performances.
