has finally dropped the official trailer of 'Ibhrat' which gives us a look at Malhar and Maya's unusual
love
story.
The one-minute-thirty seconds clip begins with
Kishore Kadam's narration love story based on the novel Avadi by renowned folk musician and poet
Anna Bhau Sathe
. Kadam introduces Malhar (played by
Sanjay Shejwal) as wrestler and
Shilpa Thakre plays Maya, a free-spirited young woman.
The film also features
Suresh Vishwakarma, who again plays a menacing patriarch as in Sairat (2016). 'Ibhrat' is directed by first-time filmmaker Pravin Kshirsagar. Interestingly, the story is based on the novel Avadi by renowned folk musician and poet Anna Bhau Sathe.
It will certainly be interesting to see how the makers translate the popular literary work on the big screen.
