Jitendra Joshi pens a heartfelt note on winning the best actor critics award; says, 'I dedicate this trophy to every mother'

Actor Jitendra Joshi has garnered a lot of accolades for stupendous performance in films like 'Choricha Mamla', 'Mauli', 'Duniyadari', and many more.

Joshi's performances in Nikhil Mahajan's 'Godavari' has earned him the Best Actor Critics Award at the Planet Marathi presents Filmfare Awards Marathi 2022.

While expressing his gratitude, Joshi took to his Instagram handle to share a heartfelt post. Sharing a picture of his mother with a black lady, Joshi wrote, "Best moment of my life!!

When i got the news about recieving best actor critic award for godavari immediately i thought of one person.
Right from aanand to jo jeeta vohi sikandar, beta, tezaab to Dil and so so many uncountable movies.
Every film has a hero and a heroine and whenever we remember a film we remember them along with the story but i remember one more person along with heros and heroines which is @shakuntala_joshi as she was the one who took me to every film i saw in my childhood. I saw every filmfare award ceremony along with her on television and we had our own guesses for each nomination in each catagory."

"We had difference of opinion about the result sometimes and correct guesses manier times. She allowed me to go away from her and search my path. Now as she is looking at this trophy with a smile i remember her doubts about my well being when i told her that i am leaving for the dream city to become something. All my compliments , accolades , all the claps i have got as an actor is just and just because of her .
This filmfare lady belongs to this lady who is my mother. I dedicate this trophy to every mother watching this ceremony and dreaming about her child . My dear best director award winner brother @nikmahajan you gave your best shot with the story and screenplay along with @prajakt_d who gave brilliant metaphors with absolute real dialogues .
