Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar
said, "A work of art is one that is very close to the director. 'Panghrun' is very close to my heart. I often felt that this story should come to the attention of the audience. Which everyone will love, love and the viewer will fall in love with this story. As much as the audience, I am also looking forward to the release of this film"
'Panghrun' is a period drama, Gauri is sporting a look from the yesteryear era. She is seen performing ballet to the music from a gramophone, in a nauvari saree!
Amol Bavdekar and
Sulekha Talwalkar
are also a part of this film. The film's backdrop is set in a vintage era.
