Director Ganesh Pandit's Makeup (2020) will see Sairat (2016) star
Rinku Rajguru in two avatars. A week back, Rinku wooed fans over with the new poster from the movie which throws more light on her character. Now, the makers have unveiled a trailer to keep excitement level soaring high till the film's release.
The trailer shows Rinku as Poorvi dons two different identities in the film. Her family is too traditional and orthodox. Hence, she behaves very sanskaari [well-behaved] at home. So, we see that in her language, behaviour, mannerisms and last, but not the least, clothes. It is definitely intriguing to see her rock both the avatars so convincingly. Overall, this potboiler will be a perfect treat for fans of the Sairat (2016) star Rinku Rajguru.
It also sees Marathi star
Chinmay Udgirkar, a doctor who rejects sanskaari Poorvi's marriage proposal but seems very attracted to Poorvi's bold,
bindaas
[carefree] and talkative persona which is very well highlighted in the trailer. In other words, she is a rebel. This is Poorvi's real self which is hidden from her own family.
This is Rajguru's third movie after Sairat and Kagaar (2019). She has a rare record for a female actor in
Marathi cinema
to play the lead in three films back-to-back and that too right at the start of her career.
With the upcoming film 'Makeup', Ganesh is all set to make his debut as a director. The film 'Makeup' is produced by Deepak Mukut, B. Balaji Rao, Hiren Gada, Neeraj Kumar Burman and Amit Singh, and co-produced Ketan Maru and Kaleem Khan.
