'Bogda'

, directed by Nisheeta Keni, is set to release worldwide. After getting success in Maharashtra, the film is ready to hit the screens in a big way across US, UK, Australia and Canada.
On September 7, Indian audiences witnessed a slice-of-life tale in first-time director Nisheeta Keni's Marathi film 'Bogda', a Marathi language feature film which was her debut feature film which she has written, directed and produced. The film shows, a dysfunctional mother-daughter duo take a road trip where the universe conspires to help them carve memories of a lifetime.

Earlier, the film had participated in

75th Venice International Film

Festival and gave tough competition to other films. The selection committee had sent a letter of appreciation to the filmmaker for her maiden venture which reads "certainly the strongest entries we received from India this year". But unfortunately, the film could not make it to the final lineup.

While speaking to Timesofindia.com, director Nisheeta Keni, said "From the third week of September, film 'Bogda' will be screened in

50 screens of US

in various cities. And then in countries as well. We have also submitted for Oscar and its still under process"
