Fandry wins best feature film at Indian Film Festival Of Los Angeles

Filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, who recently attended the Indian Film Festival Of Los Angeles, came back victorious. Nagraj's film 'Fandry' was awarded with the best feature film at the festival.
Excited about winning the award, Nagraj posted a picture of him with the award and posted it on a social-networking site. He also wrote: One more feather in Fandry's cap...Won Best Feature Film in Indian Film Festival Of Los Angeles (IFFLA)(sic).
A story of teenage love based in an interior village of Maharashtra, the film focuses on the problem of caste discrimination by incorporating a love angle in it. The film stars Somnath Awghade, Rajeshwari Kharat and Kishore Kadam.
