Actress Reshma Shinde, who is currently seen in Marathi serial Gharoghari Matichya Chuli, recently tied the knot with Pavan, who is an IT professional. The couple chose to incorporate both Maharashtrian and Kannada customs to honour their respective cultures on the special day. Celebrities from the Marathi film and television industry, including Harshada Khanvilkar, Anuja Sathe, Aashutosh Gokhale, and Abhidnya Bhave, attended the occasion.
Reshma, who looked radiant as a bride, said, “Our wedding ceremonies were just how we had dreamt of, each having its own charm. I find it quite endearing that Pavan’s family is deeply rooted in their traditions, and takes pride in their culture. Everything is new for me but I am trying to get familiar.”
The actress also shared that her husband will soon be moving to India. “He had been working in the UK for the last seven to eight years, but I am happy that he has made this decision for me. It was not feasible for me to relocate, given the nature of my work. An actor’s career is unpredictable, and I felt that staying in India would provide me with more opportunities in fields beyond acting. Moreover, I have started a business venture too,” said she.
