'Pandu': Sonalee Kulkarni expresses her gratitude as the film completes 50 successful days in theatres

Actor-director Viju Mane's comedy-drama 'Pandu' starring Sonalee Kulkarni, Bhau Kadam and Kushal Badrike was released on December 3, 2021, has set the cash registers ringing at the box office.

Today, the 'Hirkani' actress took to her Instagram handle to share a poster of her film 'Pandu' as the film completed its glorious 50 days since the day it was released.

Sharing the picture, Sonalee Kulkarni wrote, "सलग दुसऱ्या चित्रपटाचे सिनेमागृहात पंनास दिवस साजरे होत आहेत���� कृतज्ञ ����

प्रेक्षकहो आपल्या उदंड प्रेमामुळेच पांडू ५० दिवसांचा टप्पा गाठू शकलाय, आपल्या या प्रेमासाठी खूप खूप धन्यवाद!"

Talking about the film, 'Pandu' is a tribute to Marathi cinema's veteran star Dada Kondke. It stars Pandu (played by Bhau Kadam), Mahadu (Kushal Badrike), Sonalee Kulkarni (Playing as Usha) and Pravin Tarde in pivotal roles.

While speaking about her character, Sonalee had said "After doing the historical film 'Hirkani', I wanted to do some light film where I am just chilling and enjoying. Like a typical commercial cinema. I think we all needed that kind of break. When you want people to come to the theatre, you have to show something that is unique. You must show them that can be seen on big-screen larger than life. So, that's why 'Pandu' is a very important film"
