The National Award winning director Abhijeet Mohan Warang has announced a biopic on legendary Marathi actress Ranjana Deshmukh.
Recently, the filmmaker Abhijeet Warang took to his Instagram handle to share this news with his fans and followers. Sharing a video, Abhijeet wrote, "लवकरच येत आहे आपणा सर्वांची लाडकी रंजना, आपल्या भेटीला ३ मार्च २०२३ रोजी चित्रपटगृहात !!"
The name Ranjana Deshmukh is at the forefront among the actresses who made the black and white era colorful with her all-round acting.
On the strength of handsome face, variety of acting, good communication style and captivating dance, Ranjana had charmed the audience with her beauty for a long time.
Born in Mumbai, Ranjana entertained her fans by playing various characters from 1960 to 2000. She entered the film industry at the age of five, acting as a child artist in the film 'Harishchandra Taramati'. At a young age, she won acclaim by playing the lead role in the film 'Asla Navra Nakoga Bai'.
Apart from this, she is also known for her movies like 'Mumbai Cha Faujdar', 'Sushila', 'Gondhalat Ghandal', 'Gupchup Gupchup', 'Bahurupi', 'Bin Kamacha Navra', 'Khichdi' and among others.
The film is slated to release on March 3, 2023.
