The much-awaited Saurabh Sinha's ‘Saavat’ trailer is out. The film revolves around the story of a village which explores the human psyche. The film is already in news for its teaser and catchy poster and now, the makers dropped the official trailer which is bound to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Interestingly, the trailer begins with subtitles describing the real crux of the film, that follows a cop played by
Smita Tambe, on her hunt to solve a mystery involving seven suicides in one village within seven years. What makes the story gripping is that these incidents occur during the rainy season with seven eyewitnesses Iron branded with morbid messages. All these witnesses see someone, who was not supposed to be there.
According to the makers, the story treads the fine line between faith and
blind faith
, thus sending out a strong message of free will. Actress Smita Tambe, who is known for portraying strong female characters in various movies, is debuting as a producer with the film 'Saavat.
The film that features stars like Smita Tambe, Milind Shirole, Shwetambari Ghute and Sanjeevani Jadhav in pivotal roles, is slated to release on 21st March 2019.
