Marathi film Pune 52 has been released at Surat, Ahemdabad and Delhi today by PVR multiplexes under their initiative PVR Directors Rare. Under their initiative PVR Directors Rare, a few selected films from all over the world are released at the selected big centres of India.

Sonali Kulkarni and Saie Tamhankar is a story of a detective and the film is staged in 1990s.
The film did well at box office in Maharashtra and now the producers are having their fingers crossed for the release of film at centres outside Maharashtra.
���������Right from the beginning we were sure that we wanted our film to release at other centres too. Therefore even the trailers of the film were with English subtitles. If the film does well at these centres it will give a boost to Marathi film industry and we will be able to target the Marathi audience at centres out of Maharashtra in a better way,��������� informs producer Suhrud Godbole.
The film is also bound to release at centres like Bangalore soon.
