Veteran actress and director Mrinal Kulkarni, her actor son Virajas Kulkarni and his wife actress Shivani Rangole will be working together for the first time.
In the upcoming historical movie 'Subhedar', Mrinal Kulkarni will be seen in the role of Jijabai Bhonsle, Virajas as Jeeva and Shivani Rangole will be seen in the role of Yashodabai Malusare. Keeping the legacy of history inherited from her grandfather, Mrinal Kulkarni has left his mark in various historical roles.
While speaking about the same, Mrinal Kulkarni said, "In the film 'Subhedar', we will see how Tanhaji Malusare's family has given valuable support and our family is also happy to come together on the occasion of this film".
Talking about the film, Subedar Tanaji Malusare was a military leader in the Maratha Empire of Chhatrapati Shivaji. He led an army that successfully captured the Kondhana fort from a Rajput fort keeper named Udaybhan Singh Rathore.
The film is all set to hit screens on August 18, 2023.
