Watch: Sagarika Ghatge shows off her football skills while training for 'Monsoon Football'

Actress Sagarika Ghatge, who is still known for her role as hockey captain Preeti Sabharwal in the film 'Chak De! India' (2007), will be seen in another upcoming sports film. This time around, it’s a film revolving around football, titled 'Monsoon Football'. In the Milind Ukey directorial, she will reportedly lead a team of housewives in a football team.

Recently, the makers of 'Monsoon Football' shared the video where the actress can be seen putting her skills to the test and playing a friendly during a training session.



Milind Ukey's 'Monsoon Football' also stars Amol Kagne, Chitrashi Rawat, Vidya Malvade, Delnaz Irani and Usha Naik. While speaking to ETimes, Rajeev Anand said, "The film is women oriented and it portrays the life of four families, where I am playing the role of a husband, who is a follower of Islam. It's a very challenging and positive role."

Sagarika Ghatge, is one actress who is known for her Bollywood films as she is for her Marathi film. She also gave the superhit 'Premachi Goshta' (2013), where she was paired opposite Atul Kulkarni.
