Anvatt: 5 reasons to watch the film

This gripping paranormal tale, directed by Gajjendra Ahirey, is set in the 70s and has actors Adinath Kothare and Urmila Kanetkar Kothare as the lead pair. Gajjendra said, "Adinath and Urmila play a doctor couple who visit a village for providing medical help. The story then progresses to how they encounter unforseen incidences that threaten their existence." The film is shot in Konkan.

The posters of Gajjendra Ahirey's 'Anvatt' sees a scared Urmila Kanetkar-Kothare on them. The photo on the poster suggest that Urmila has gone topless for a scene. However, when contacted Urmila said, "There is no topless scene of mine in 'Anvatt'." When asked her if she was willing to go topless for a film, she said, "I have to be extremely convinced that it is required for the film. Then I can give it a thought. But I can't say anything as of now."

The film's trailer, which was released recently, shows Adinath and Urmila in a song sequence where they kiss each other. While the trailer suggests that there is more to the scene, we will have to wait and watch whether the couple shed all their inhibitions and make out or not.

The film's music has been directed by Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar and arranged by Shankar- Ehsan- Loy and Sachin Jambekar. The songs have been sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Vibhavari Apte and Sapna Pathak.
