Swwapnil Joshi's most memorable films

Swwapnil Joshi is a film and television actor, born on October 18, 1977. Swwapnil has also tried his hand at production. He is one of the most well-known faces in Marathi film industry. He has done some of the most successful series in television such as 'Eka Lagnachi Dusri Goshta' as well as films like 'Duniyadari', 'Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai'. 'Duniyadari'

'Duniyadari' is a 2013 Marathi film directed by Sanjay Jadhav which has apparently gone on to become the all-time biggest blockbuster in the history of Marathi Cinema. 'Duniyadari' is the story of friendship and love which starred Swwapnil Joshi, Ankush Chaudhary, Sai Tamhankar, Jitendra Joshi, Sushant Shelar, and many more. Swapnil Joshi) has delivered an exceptional performance in the film which garnered a lot of praises from the audience. The real cherry on the cake though was the presence of some really good music accompanying the characters in their journey throughout which made the film a classic hit.

'Pyaar Vali Love Story' is a Marathi film directed and written by Sanjay Jadhav which released in theatres on 24 October 2014. Starring Swwapnil Joshi and Sai Tamhankar in the lead roles, 'Pyar Vali Love Story' presents two parallel stories. The fabulous love story and the dramatic screenplay is the key to the success of the film. Swwapnil's extraordinary acting and his dialogue delivery are commendable in the film.

'Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai'

'Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai' is a Marathi romantic drama film released on 11 June 2010. Directed and co-written by Satish Rajwade with a screenplay by Rajwade and Parag Kulkarni. The movie is based on a love story between a boy and girl from different cities of Pune and Mumbai respectively, Swwapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve, and how their competitive spirits get them together. The film was commercially successful and a superhit at the box office. A sequel, 'Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2' was released on 12 November 2015. 'Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai' saw an awesome chemistry between Swwapnil and Mukta which the audience praised a lot. Both stars played their characters so well that it became the blockbuster at the box-office.

'Mitwaa' counts on good music, excellent performances, and superior technical support, starring Swwapnil Joshi, Sonalee Kulkarni & Prarthana Behere in lead roles. The film released on 13 February 2015. 'Mitwaa' was a classical love triangle between Swwapnil, Sonalee and Prarthana. The film was clear box office hit, continuing for more than 25 weeks across Maharashtra.

'Tu Hi Re', a romantic Marathi drama directed by Sanjay Jadhav, starred Swwapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar and Tejaswini Pandit in the leading roles. Tu Hi Re is based on a story from the Tamil movie ‘Sillunu Oru Kadhal’.

'Tu Hi Re' stands out due to its great combination of romance, drama and an unexpected twist. A simple story told in the most cinematic way possible, Swwapnil and Sai's acting had a big contribution towards the success of the film.

'Laal Ishq'

'Laal Ishq' is a romance-mystery-thriller film, directed by Swapna Waghmare-Joshi and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-produced by Shabina Khan released on 27 May 2016. Swwapnil Joshi, Anjana Sukhani and Sneha Chavan played the lead roles respectively. The movie was the debut for Anjana Sukhani in Marathi films. 'Laal Ishq' is a love story entwined with a murder that takes place in a resort, and the prime suspects for the murder are the two leads of the film. 'Laal Ishq', probably due to Swapnil Joshi’s romantic hero image was loved by audiences.
