Celebrating Anandi Gopal's musical success

While the film Anandi Gopal has received critical acclaimed, the soundtrack of the same has equally received adulation from the listeners. Set in the later 19th century, the music in the film is conveyed with so much finesse by each singer.
Waata Waata Waata Ga is a cheery folk-flavoured song set to a horse-cart rhythm, punctuated by a familiar marching band tune (interestingly generated on shehnai and tabla, made to sound like a pipe band!) and delivered spectacularly by Priyanka Barve.
Recently, the entire musical entourage of the film gathered for the premier of the film and clicked selfies together. Aanandi Joshi, Priyanka Barve, Deepika Jog, Hrishi Datar, Hrishikesh Ranade, Ketaki Mategaonkar, Saurabh Bhalerao, Jasraj Jayant Joshi were spotted at the film's premier.
