and husband Sarang Kulkarni have been blessed with a baby
boy
. The first-time parents have named their bundle of joy –
Yuvaan
.
Priyanka had organised an intimate naming ceremony yesterday at her residence in Pune. The ecstatic newbie mother tells us, “Our son was born on August 20, but we didn’t announce it because we wanted to spend some time with the little one. Also, we wanted to announce the baby’s arrival after we name him.”
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, Priyanka is being extra cautious when it comes to her baby’s safety. “We have been avoiding visitors at home. But thanks to technology, our friends and relatives are able to catch a glimpse of him via video calls. In fact, during the entire pregnancy period, I didn’t meet anyone nor did I step out for anything except regular check-ups at the clinic,” says she.
Last month, Priyanka had announced her pregnancy on social media by sharing a picture with her husband flaunting her
baby
bump. She captioned, "Excited & nervous for our biggest release ever! Priyarang’s best till date. Need your wishes & blessings," (sic). Needless to say, congratulatory messages have been pouring in from all quarters.
Priyanka has given playback for songs in Marathi films such as 'Anandi Gopal', 'Rama Madhav', 'Krutant' etc. She has even lent her voice in Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum opus 'Panipat' for a song titled 'Mard Maratha'.
